Advantages
Good temperature resistance - UL continuous
use temperature of 190°C (370°F).
Exhibits good solvent and chemical
resistance. Good flame resistance.
Resistant to radiation. Good dimensional
stability.
Disadvantages
Difficult to pigment - only dark colours
available. Somewhat notch sensitive.
Relatively poor tracking resistance.
Only available in modified form, i.e.
glass, carbon or PTFE filled.

Electrical components, e.g. connectors,
housings, coil formers. Chemical pumps,
under-bonnet components. Coatings
for chemical and / or abrasion resistance.
