Polyethylene Terephthalate - PET 45% Glass Fibre Reinforced

Advantages
Very high flexural modulus, tensile strength, notched izod impact strength, maximum operating temperature, heat distortion temperature and low mould shrinkage compared with unmodified PET.

Disadvantages
Significantly reduced elongation at break compared with unmodified PET. Incorporation of glass fibres can cause anisotropy in mouldings.
