fatigue resistance. Also excellent
interlaminar and in plane shear strengths.
Best tensile strength, flexural modulus,
heat distortion temperature and linear
expansion compared with other epoxy
laminates.
Disadvantages
Very expensive. Lower impact strength
compared with other epoxy laminates.
Inclusion of carbon fibre results
in negligible electrical characteristics.
